[Implemented] Allow selection of a larger size for collage style galleries

I'd like to be able to choose a larger size for photos in a collage-style gallery. I would like this for collage landscape but I imagine there are others who might want the option in collage portrait as well.

I can have nice large images on my landing age but I'm restricted in galleries. The landscape collage should have size options.

The image block offers a lot more flexibility wrt image spacing and image sizes. Such that, I'm likely to launch my site using image blocks on the porfolio pages rather than using the default gallery collages. Only slight issue is that once you open one in lightbox, there's no way of scrolling through each of them.

It's not image blocks I am talking about, it's galleries using the style Collage Landscape. I'm not going to drag images into a page when what I want is to show the full gallery.

What denise said... Again. The ability to change the size of photos when a collage setting is chosen for that gallery. Template front pages allow this.

There's some lack of consistency with the collages. You can't sort the homepage collage, but you can set a size. The opposite for the gallery collages.

unbelievable we still can't customise galleries - the most important pages on our sites!

I'm really puzzled that SmugMug has shown no interest in adding more gallery customisation options. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Thanks Michael. It really seems silly that my pages in collage style can have larger images than my gallery. We need the ability to really show off our photos in this style - larger images and selection of size are a requirement.

Bump for feedback from SmugMug

I don't understand why there isn't an option to show larger sizes in collage style galleries. I know, once a viewer clicks to lightbox they can see a good image - but larger images in collage layout would allow for a much better browsing experience. And jumping from a folder representing galleries where the images are larger than those in the galleries - well that just feels wrong.

Knock, knock, knock...anyone home or paying attention? This doesn't seem like it would be very difficult to accomplish and the fact that it is not being addressed is very frustrating. (If I'm wrong--if it is indeed very hard to accomplish--then please say so!) I've reverted back to the basic smugmug layout for my galleries because of this issue, but that is starting to feel very old and I am feeling restless and checking out other options. I love the collage landscape option, but ONLY if we can make images larger.

Or, give me a real, honest-to-goodness, journal/photoblog option. That might hold me over.
