Adjust Thumbnail View

Is it possible to adjust the Gallery thumbnail view of the featured image? I want to make a vertical image the featured image (horizontal), but when I do, the tops of the heads from the nose up get chopped off!

You can automatically adjust all your portrait image thumbnails to move the view further up, please check out the customisation I've posted here:

You can adjust the crop of a thumbnail by editing the image (click on the wrench when viewing the image and go to edit, and then crop thumbnail), but I really have no idea if that would affect the cropping of the featured image. You could give it a try though!

Nope, unfortunately it doesn't, at least currently.

I guess it depends on where the image is. It worked for my profile image, but in any case, I think it would make a great feature request because there needs to be a better way to modify the crop of an image than by having to use CSS.
