Brand new to the NEW SM. Only ever poked around on the old one.
How do I...
1) Prevent photos from Unlisted Folders and Galleries from appearing on my homepage? One would think that "Unlisted" would also mean not viewable. Yet, there they are.
2) Get a list of Folders in my sidebar? I just get a bunch of photos on the photo wall and they take you straight to Galleries. There's no sense for my viewer of any sense of organization either modal or hierarchical.
I would like my viewers to be able to navigate the way I do the organization in Aperture (or LR, or iPhoto...they all work the same) and that is (for example) Projects-Year-Month-Album from my app to Folder-Folder-Gallery-Gallery equivalent.
So if one clicks on 2013 in the sidebar it takes you to a 2013 Folder and there are thumbnails of each sub-folder for each month. Click on August and you get a set of thumbnails for each album within that month and a solitary album for videos. Pretty straightforward. To get to 2012 you simply click on 2012 in the sidebar.
Just not finding it easy to set up a logical system here. I am officially lost trying to translate my organization from my Mac to SM.
