SM - Was SEO tested side-by-side?

SM - Were all the usual SEO techniques tested side-by-side between this "so called new SM" and the "legacy" version? Having read through the bug reporting and customisation threads, there seem to be a few issues about splitting galleries etc.

Sure would like to know if you tested this. If so, please comfort those of us trying to enhance our SEO.

We are keeping up with new threads and desk tickets as fast as we can. The short answer is yes, this was tested. If there are indeed bugs, we will be fixing them.
