Keywords in Photo Replacement

I find if I have a number of photos on which the tags/keywords need amending it is quicker just to re-upload the images using "replace duplicates". However I am finding that the keywords are not being amended with the new image and the old ones remain

I had found that to be a problem on legacy smugmug; sounds like it's not fixed yet...
