footer copyright symbol

I am using a customised footer with the text "all images C by hans-juergen strecker"
the copyright symbol can not be shown in the NEW smugmug?
is this a font issue?

It can be shown in an html page element.
I wasn't able to use a text element.

Looks like you're using a menu content block for your footer, correct? Have you tried using '©' in the link's name field?
