Copies of existing galleries ?

Hi,

In a folder called "abc" I would like to include copies of existing galleries.
So in the "abc" gallery I first create a gallery and then indicate I want it to be a "smart gallery".
The rule I use is "Include, My Photos, From Gallery, Name of original Gallery".
It works!
My question is it it efficient ? Do both galleries use the same photo location on disc? or does the "smart gallery" copy the photos to another disc location ?

Another way you could do this is make the Folder a custom folder, and configure the galleries content block differently. In the settings for the galleries content block, set the "Select From" field to "Galleries I Choose", and then choose the galleries you want to display. I'll admit that I don't know what you are trying to accomplish, but I did what you did with the smart galleries in the old Smugmug, and then found that it was a lot of work to maintain (for my project, yours might not be as big of a scope as mine). The new way is much better for me, other than the fact that there is no way to sort the galleries once I've chosen them.
