Lightroom Plugin out of Sync with Smugmug

I'm having huge problems with the harmony between the plugin and the new SM. I'm currently running 2.0.1.11 and have tried repeated attempts at Sync'ing hierarchy and photos with partial/incomplete results. I've looked at the logfile which is giving me no useful information other than "started" and "ended" type records. I've also looked at the HTTP traffic but have not dug in deeper.

1) Plugin not recognizing smart galleries
2) When changing config of a Smart Gallery on SM and Syncing LR plugin, the plugin things it needs to Remove photos. When I publish it's decision to remove, it returns errors.
3) huge discrepancies between the files the plugin thinks exist on SM vs what's really there.

While 1 and 2 seem like a big deal, #3 makes me more nervous about using this plugin, and I'll go into more detail about that.

An example of #3, some of my folders in the plugin's hierrarchy show a count of 0 for a folder that has 40 items on SM. I tried to do a "Sync Photos" directly from the Gallery Settings of that gallery inside the plugin but it did not change anything.

I'm seeing other similar discrepancies between folders, some saying 0 others just showing a smaller number of photos in the plugin vs what's on SM. Well, I don't have much time to help with this, so I'll try to summarize my scenario so you can make sure it's covered in your own testing:

1. Had LR4 installed with a 1.x version of the plugin, used for about a year or more.
2) Upgraded to LR5 last week, kept same version of plugin
3) Upgraded SM to new site yesterday
4) USed the Organizer to rearrange things
5) Went into LR and Sync'd hierarchy only
6) Noticed things weren't quite right, so searched and found new LR plugin from SM, installed
7) Tried Photo Sync, got the error I originally reported
8) Removed publishing service for the plugin, and added a new one, tried to Sync, but hit the same error
9) Installed new version 2.0.1.3 today and Sync Photos seemed to complete, but noticing that Galleries mismatch what's actually on SM. I can confirm that the photos missing in the plugin do exist in LR and on SM. In some cases these are videos which I assume are not sync'd, but videos are not contributing significantly to the mismatch.

My question - is there a way to completely remove the plugin and it's database so I can start from scratch?

I'll second the problem with discrepancies in the correct number of photos when the plugin (2.0.3) tries to synch with a folder -- even when all photos reside in the same LR folder.

I have just started using the SM plug-in over my historic use of jFriedl's due to issues I am now having with his maybe due to the new SM folder structures. Now neither seems to work properly.

I will test more but I just added the SM version into another LR catalog that fed just a sub-section of my site and so far it is balking on showing any online photos with a synch request although it did show the contents of a small video gallery.

I just grabbed the latest 2.0.1.16 and sync hier then photos. In general there seems to be an improvement in the sync - many galleries are now "closer" in number or dead on accurate. The "closeness" seems to be that the plugin is not considering videos in the sync, but then also some other factors I haven't figured out.

I'm also not sure what it's doing with Smart Galleries. I have a few of those on SM and it seems to treat them like regular gals inside of LR.

However there's a much *BIGGER PROBLEM*. I have some galleries that I moved from the major categories/folders of the legacy SM, to new folders in the new SM. The plugin has these galleries in the correct folder hierarchy, but it has marked all of their photos as "Deleted photos to be removed". I cannot seem to correct this state, and I definitely don't want to remove them from SM and have to re-add them.

Hi devbobo! I'm pretty leery of sharing out my catalog any more, too much personal metadata in it. I'm open to other debugging ideas that I could help with. Other ideas?

As a side note, one other minor bug I seemed to have stumbled on, using 2.0.1.16. Looks like single quotes are allowed in gallery names by the plugin, but fail during photo upload to SM.

Can you point me to a gallery on SmugMug that currently has images marked for deletion ?
And provide me with the Smart Collection rules for the LR Published Collection ?

To see if i can reproduce ?
