I have been using statecounter.com and LOVE it for the last two years. I've migrated over and am unsure where I need to interject my code. Can someone tell me? Here is a link to the instructions for the old smugmug...

Thanks

Michelle

I can help you… have you unveiled your new smug yet? If not, DON'T do it yet. You need your old code. Let me know if you haven't unveiled.

I also have this question. I saved the old code - could you please tell me where I need to put it?

    Thank you

Go the Entire site area of customization. Drag a HTML box to the bottom and then paste your code in it. If you copied your code from your old CSS on the legacy site then you should still have all the views on the counter.

Thanks for sharing this info. Is there a way to hide the 'Free Web Stats' text that appears when you install the StatCounter HTML code?

    TIA

    Statcounter Paths
I was able to add statcounter to the new smugmug. But now it doesn't track the paths. It just shows hits, while before I could see what photos people were looking at. Not happy!

Have tried putting the Statcounter code in a css block (entire site) and also HTML code in HTML block
Statcounter still doesn't recognise my website.

Anyone got this to work (Debbiedub + ????) and if so did you do something differently to me?
    Thanks
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

I drug an HTML block to my footer and places my code there.

    It should look something like:
    <div id="statcounter_image" style="display:inline;"><a title="web analytics" href="http://statcounter.com/" class="statcounter"><img src="http://c.statcounter.comYOURSITE'SIDCODE" alt="web analytics" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

I do not see any visible statcounter stuff on my site.

It ONLY records hits. They are working on allowing us to implement the java version of Statcounter.
