Hierarchy concept with multiple photos block

When adding a "Multiple Photos" block to the folders level it would be nice if there was an option to adhere to the hierarchy that the user is currently viewing.
So for example if I am at the root level of the folders then a multiple photos block with recent photos selected would show recent photos from any gallery. If you click a sub-folder then the multiple photos block would only show recent photos under that particular folder hierarchy.
