Small Galleries Not Behaving

I'm having problems with the Smart Gallery feature. I keyworded multiple photos in multiple galleries using the bulk keyword feature and only some of the photos show up in the smart gallery. ie I made a smart gallery that required both the keywords, pick & bird. Most are showing up, but there are several missing and I have double checked the missing photos to be sure I didn't spell something wrong. I even re-entered the keywords and saved again, but they still refuse to show up in the bird gallery. I selected to show all photos, including the password protected one. In the case of the bird gallery, I keyworded 4 pheasant photos from the same gallery but only 2 of them are showing up in the Smart Gallery. I've waited several hours thinking maybe it takes time to resolve, to no avail. :dunno

Hi Ceasley,

I believe the indexing of keywords is backed up quite a bit and will take more than just a few hours to update. Keep in mind that there is also a bug currently where you have to refresh the smart gallery manually to get the photos to update, but I think the bigger issue is that SmugMug is behind in their indexing.

Thank you! I have been refreshing over and over again with no results, so I'm hoping it is just the backup of the indexing that is causing the problem. It just seems odd that some index right away and others still haven't hours later.

And you have manually refreshed the Smart Gallery in the Smart Gallery tool, right?

I'm not sure what you mean by refreshing in the smart gallery tool, but if you mean in the Smart Gallery settings to refresh the Preview, then yes, several times on that also.
