Yep you readright I brokedownand ordered a 200-400VR lens last week. it appeared Monday and yesterday was the first time I could try it out... Shot the lens nekidd (With and without a 1.4XTC)

    Yep it is quite a lens.. never dealt with a lens that big before.. Thought my older model 300/f4 was a big lens..

    For testing fun can you post some 100% crops??

    Sounds kind of dumb but what do you mean by a 100% crop? How would I do that???

    Guess I have never done it before...

    As I understand it, zoom into 100%, crop a 800x500 or so piece of the image and post it without any resizing, etc ;)

    Pixel peeping at it's best, as taught by our Canon shooting brethren :ymca :jose
