Unveiled Spartan, No Homepage Background Photo, Blank Thumbnails

I recently unveiled my site using Spartan.

It should look like this.

Instead of the photo on the homepage background I just get a grey background. If I log in and log out the photo will be there. I've tried it on every browser on four different computers and the background image only shows if I log in and log out.

And I have a similar problem with the thumbnails for my clients folder. The thumbnails only show if I log in and logout, otherwise I just get grey boxes with captions.

Any help would be wildly appreciated. My website is www.joelreis.com

I believe these kind of logged in vs. logged out issues are usually because of Private or Hidden folders or galleries. Try replacing these images with some from Public folders and see if that fixes the issue.

The background photo is in an unlisted, but not password protected gallery, so it should show up. The thumbnails are to password protected client galleries and I never had a problem with that with the old smugmug, so I'm wondering if it's a bug in the new system.
