Lightroom 5 - Bulk Upload Question

I have exported all of my files/videos from my prior site over at phanfare and have folders arranged by year and sub-folders containing photos/videos on my server.
I want to upload all items by year and their subfolders quickly and easily. I am using Lightroom 5 and have installed the SmugMug plugin, yet I have no clue how to do this.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
