Add an "I don't want help" option to editing HTML

We need a mode in the HTML edit box where the editor does not place the end tags automatically. I have an HTML box where I am trying to bold the link. As soon as I add <b> the editor automatically enters the end tag so I get

<b></b>

Sometimes I can use the cursor to remove the </b> so I can place it where it belongs, sometimes I can't.

Similar thing happens with any tag, very annoying.

Kinda annoying but I just cut it and paste where I want it. I like the help options, keeps me from some errors in the html.

I wish it was smart enough to put the end tag at the end of the sentence or paragraph or something...
