Just been hunting for where to set the page title so it doesn't just say my username

Eventually found it under 'profile'!!

That was after looking everywhere in the customise section, then looking in organise, then in account settings, and finally in profile.

There are too many settings locations and you get to them in different ways

oh, and i should probably add a separate post about this, but the search page's title switches to 'smugmug search' after it loads

+1 Certainly, there can be a comprehensive "settings" page where we can select something that takes us to the correct place! Don't make this harder for us!!!

I actually find it kind of neat on local pages, I can change the CSS and html and watch what happens. My only
gripe is when changing CSS for "entire site" or "all ..." the contents below disappear and can not see what the
    effects are.

Doesn't preview work after changing it? In preview you can go to multiple pages.

(Note I've seen reports that some changes leak out and are visible even before you publish; I haven't tried to confirm that, just FYI).

When I posted a link to my new site on FB the information from that profile page showed up instead of my old metadata. My site name was the nickname I used to set up SM, and instead of the SEO optimization message I'd had it displayed the old text that was in my profile. Is this where we change out metadata now? On the profile page?
