DSS135 - first try at tilt-shift- C&C please

Hi Everyone

I had my very first go at tilt-shift photography. I did not even know that technique before JAG launched the challenge. Great to learn something new!

So here is the shot I did today. I would really appreciate some critics. Is it too blurry? Should have I not blurred some sections? Is the crop appropriate? etc...

    I've never done tilt-shift before so I couldn't say if this is to blurry or not. It looks good to me though and I really like it! :)

    This is adorable! The only suggestion I might have is to play with the fade from blur to focus. I haven't done these before either, but the ones JAG posted look to have a smoother transition. & I'm not sure that the spire needs to be in focus - the little bit of dark around it is a touch distracting. Something to play around with. Really sweet subject & perspective!
