Sharegroup migration

Hi,
so how do I migrate my sharegroups to the new smugmug?

The new interface does not show the sharegroups at all as far as I can see, I can only access them because I saved the link...

Yes, but that's not the point.
If they are going away, how can I migrate existing sharegroups to whatever the replacement is?
And until then, why is the link to the sharegroups not part of the new UI?

Feels a bit half-baked....

not confirmed, but I would imagine that sharegroups are no longer necessary as they can be replaced by a page with a gallery box to the selected galleries.

e.g. http://www.paulbrockphotography.co.uk/Sharegrouptest

edit: also, even if you forget the URL, they are accessible under Account Settings->Discovery->Sharing

Do they really expect me to do this again manually if there is already a sharegroup?

No they are still required, as Basic users don't have the option to create custom pages.

I would assume so, as the new smugmug does not provide an interface to them...

It does. Top right > "your name" > account settings > discovery > sharing > sharegroups

Ahh, nice to know...
Looks like this thread was a case of the blind leading the blind so far.

But why is it placed under the account settings and not the organizer where any sane person would expect it?

They're in the same place they were before. They can't yet go in the Organizer because haven't yet been fully integrated into the new platform. So it's just a technical limitation right now.
