Small tornado today

I always carry a camera...everywhere. I was driving home today about 1pm in the truck when i saw the tail drop out of a cloud.... but it puffed out quickly.

I left the power line in to just give it that tiny bit of perspective.

I dont know what or whom is doing what to the climate but we are really copping it here with wild storms.

    Tks for looking guys.

3000 lightning strikes in 2 hours yesterday with 6 injured & 3 dead from strikes. I was on a rooftop & missed some wild shots by being 2 mins late. The storms are getting particularly violent.

If your gonna go then your gonna go.

Wow Gus, looks like the one we had here...I agree about the crazy weather...Until recently funnels and twisters were almost unheard of in Australia....Now I hear they are turning up all over the place. We also have had a lot of violent storms, particularly a little north (Clarence Valley) and a little west out near Moree. And it's only just December, still about 3 months to go:uhoh

We're copping wild weather too folks. And with the high temps i'm busy putting out fires too so we're either soaking wet or stinking hot.

A local farmer here a couple of weeks back lost 63 cows in one go when a lightning bolt hit the tree they were sheltering udder...oops I mean under rolleyes1.gif

Very cool, Goose, nice grab. Looks like what the Yanks call a "rope." Usually dying when they look like that.

    Tks for stopping in guys.
Yeah sid that was it at its biggest...pretty pathetic for a tornado but they dont drop & run here like in they in the US. I have seen this a lot but im always looking at storm clouds.

They land & tear the joint up but they are very short lived & almost always in the middle of the storms when no-one ever sees them. Our storms only last 15-20 mins...sometimes only 5 mins but they are pretty wild.
