Landscape with Tutorial

Priviet, dear friends!
Maybe I'm not right, posting here, but...
Maybe my tutorial will be interesting to some of you...
So...
1 Original file resized to 800x600 (or what you need)

2 Copy layer
3 Set ‘Multiply’ blending mode to second layer
4 ‘Turn off’ original layer
5 Using Eraser tool with opacity 14% you erase dark spaces carefully in second layer

6 ‘Turn on’ original layer
7 Image -> Adjustment -> Shadow/highlight 50/17/30
8 Ctrl+E
As a result we have this effect of 'strange' light...

I'd call this photo: Russian landscape with stolen electricity cable...
Since centres of scrap-iron and non-ferrous metals gathering were opend here (in 90...) our people started to steal metal everywhere: at dachas, out-of-town houses, even electricity cables...
Spasibo for your interest,
Yuri
