Just a variety of images I was playing with in Photoshop. Thought I'd share them. The egret was shot in poor light with a P&S (Canon A70). The night herons and stork shot late evening yesterday. High ISO..... tad of NR applied. :scratch

Neat effects Mike. I like the egret with the light in the center the best, but they are all nice. The night herons are good too!

Thanks Steve. I feel bad that egret about got away (lost shot). That's what happens when you surgically remove the DSLR from your neck. You miss shots. :cry I was hoping to salvage that shot. headscratch.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry. Had to work around the roof on that shot (as well as the night herons). I had a backyard full of birds ...but crappy lighting (late). That stork was not afraid of me. I could have got closer..but was at minimum focus distance for the 200mm. I had a black crowned night heron just about eating from my hand. That thing was 6" from me. Kind of cool. I had several dozen sea rats (gulls) flying overhead. GBH, half a dozen NH, egrets, and that stork. It was a fun evening feeding the birds. :uhoh :D
