Hi,

I can not find where to add custom Javascript to the new smugmug. I'd like to add custom tracking code to the footer.

Thank you.

SM does not currently support any ability to add custom javascript to the new SM. If you're using Google Analytics for tracking, you can add the GA code directly into the SM control panel and they will make it work for you automatically. If you're using a different tracking tool (like StatCounter), you can use the plain HTML version (no javascript), but those typically are a lot less functional. Until SM supports JS in the new SM, you're out of luck with the javascript version of a tracker.

    jfriend,

you mention adding GA code directly into the SM control panel: with the new SM, where would you add that? I'm having a <script> ... </script> tracking code from GA, where to I add this in? The only thing I can find is what's under Google Webmaster Tool in the new SM

    Thank you

Looks under Stats on the account settings page.

You just need to add your google analytics code, not the script tags.

Go to account settings, stats tab, scroll down until you see the Google Analytics box.
