Applying different gallery style for all galleries located in a particular folder?

Is there a way to apply a different gallery style to all galleries in a specific folder? For example, let's say that the rest of the site shows galleries in grid view. However, I want all galleries dropped into folder X to be in Smugmug view. Is that possible?

Sorry, but not currently. It seems like a logical step for us to take though, if we can do it without confusing people.

Yes please this is one of the things we lost in the upgrade that is costing me a lot of time now getting the different parts of my site looking they I want them to look.

It was there & logical before so it should confuse people now!

We may be talking about different things then. This functionality didn't exist before. You could edit gallery settings in bulk and apply it or use a Quick Setting, but making every newly uploaded gallery in a particular Category of Subcategory wasn't an option before and isn't yet one now.

But you can still use Quick Settings or Bulk Gallery Settings for this on the new platform.

How would I apply a different banner to a folder and have it flow down. Or how any customization
can be flowed down. On the legacy site this was easy to do with CSS by specifying to the category
or sub-cat. I have not found any specific class names assigned to specific pages/folders.

No we could do this on the old SM as Allen states, In customizer we could use css to specify banners, font type and any number of things that would apply to any gallery made within a category (now folder) or sub category (now sub folder).

The original post was about the SmugMug gallery styles, not banners or fonts.

Allen, please stop posting unrelated things on so many threads. It doesn't help anyone.

I have threads started with this issue and have received no comments.
Sorry, just getting frustrated with the most common issues like multiple banners.
