Default Search Page

I am still working on tweaking my pages prior to unveiling. One thing I have not determined is how to reduce the size of the default search page block. It says it is reserved for default smugmug content.

I am fine with how the block works and functions, but it is much larger than it needs to be. In my case I am using a modified version of Moss, and it has a blank space almost 5 or 6 times larger than the actual search bar.

I know I can create my own search page, but I do like the terms below it; "photos, galleries, videos, photos+videos"

So any suggestions would be appreciated.

same question here. I can create my own search page, but it doesnt have the features the default page does, and we cant modify the default page
