Working Fine then Gone!

I've been working on my new site and had nearly everything the way I wanted it. But when I went back for another check of all the links, none of the photos are showing-up any more. On my Home page, I have a link to "Galleries", where I have all the galleries listed. if I click on "Galleries", I get the galleries page and proper breadcrumb, and all the galleries show-up. But when I click to see the contents of a gallery, there are no photos in any of them.

I also have several more direct links from the home page to specific galleries. When I click on these, again I get the proper breadcrumb, but the galleries and photos are not shown.

The photos show-up on the Legacy site. Also, when in a specific gallery and I switch back to new Smugmug, the photos are present, until I re-navigate to that gallery. Then they are gone.

I submitted a ticket earlier this morning - #505538 (more than 12 hours ago), but haven't received any response. So I've been going through the forums again. I've seen a few posts of others that have this problem, but am not finding any solutions.

Anyone solved this problem? Anyone have any ideas? Getting a little frustrated and sure could use some help.

    Nevermind, I found it. It looks like you customized your All Folders level and deleted the Galleries content block. I added it back for you and everything seems to be working.

    Same problem here
    Same problem here ...... links to galleries do nothing. Following .... if you find anything out, please let me know.

    Yep, all working fine now. So was it my deletion of the gallery content block, or the bug? If it was the gallery content block, would you mind describing how to fix (or now not to delete) the Galleries content block? I want to be sure not to do this again, but need to understand what I did? It might be helpful for others that have the same problem and need the fix.

    @ Wiscofrank - Thanks for that link. I had found and read that post. When I looked at my site, it looked like I still had what the poster described. Obviously it was the same or similar problem. This is why I want to understand what I did wrong.

    I'm a really technical individual, but when it comes to software and general computer stuff, i'm not as proficient.

    Yours wasn't a bug, just an interface that's not particularly clear to people right away. We're working on ways to make it more obvious for first time customizers.

    What happened is this: You probably navigated to a folder and went into Customize Site. It defaults to the 'All Folders' level (upper right) when you do that from a folder page. That means that any changes you make there affect all your folder pages unless an individual folder has its own special customization.

    Sometimes people see an empty Galleries block because the folder they started customizing didn't have any galleries in it. So they delete the block, unaware that it would remove that block from all the rest of their folders pages. Then when they visit a folder with galleries, none are visible because the block is gone.

    So what did you add back to my site to get it working? After reading the same link that Frank posted, I looked and saw the same structure as I see here

    I just customized All Folders and added a Galleries content block. I adjusted the display so it matched your Folders block.

    AH, OK... Now that I understand the fix, I do recall deleting the gallery content block. I just wasn't understanding the terminology. My site is now live.

    Thanks. Pretty basic - I'm not very creative on the artistic-side.
