Why does the drop down menu look so funky? Attached below.

Also, is there any way (CSS?) to move the thumbnail gallery to the left or right - similar to the classic smugmug look?

    Yeah, I've been meaning to ask that, mine looks like that too. There's a definite problem of overlapping elements in there.

    Something else - with such a lot of space either side, and often not much above or below, why not have the thing expand horizontally instead of vertically (much like it did in Legacy when it was above the thumbnails)?

    When I choose Smugmug as the style it shows with the thumbnails on the left and the image on the right until I resize the window down pretty small. Then it switches to a more vertical layout like you have. What size window / screen are you using?
