Custom Domains Broken? (Invalid URL)

This morning, When I attempt to access my smugmug site through my custom subdomain: portfolio.thephotosmith.com, the result is a page that reads:

"Invalid URL

The requested URL "/", is invalid.
Reference #9.3dfe30d0.1376399591.bced34a"

The CNAME record has not been touched in more than a year and was working fine on Sunday.

Did someone trip over the wrong cable, or did I miss an email?

The URL portfolio.thephotosmith.com works perfectly for me. Was there a bit more to the URL that you tried?

You might want to check with your domain host.

It was the top-level directory (i.e., the subdomain 'home' page) that I'd requested:
The requested URL "/", is invalid.

Nothing works from the custom subdomain; my [username].smugmug.com works fine, but I've invested a lot of time and effort in links to that subdomain, not to mention that it's what clients use for private proofing.

The CNAME configuration is intact and correct.

It might be an EasyDNS issue.

Via my home DNS lookup and cellular wireless, I get an invalid URL; via my office DNS, I get the proper page.

I hadn't run an nslookup from home (and my jailbroken iPhone doesn't have nslookup), but here's the response on a machine that is finding the site:
    Non-authoritative answer:
    portfolio.thephotosmith.com canonical name = domains.smugmug.com.
    domains.smugmug.com canonical name = domains.smugmug.com.mdc.edgesuite.net.
    domains.smugmug.com.mdc.edgesuite.net canonical name = a1170.b.akamai.net.
    Name: a1170.b.akamai.net
    Address: 23.3.13.234
    Name: a1170.b.akamai.net
    Address: 23.3.13.217

If anyone is seeing the invalid URL, could you run 'nslookup portfolio.thephotosmith.com' in the command line and paste the results?

I had the same error a few hours ago too... After some minutes, the error was gone, but now I notice my custom domain goes automatically to my old legacy site ...

That's a good point -- on the machine where I can get the subdomain to load, it's the legacy site. Hmm...

Hm. Well, I found the nslookup binary in Cydia (it's in the BIND DNS Server package, if you're curious), but by the time I'd installed it and restarted my iPhone, the issue, over cellular wireless, has resolved itself.

As I understand, I don't to have to change here anything. The problem solves itself ?

Is this resolved?? I'm about to unveil and I'll wait, if my URL won't point to my new site.

    There's nothing to resolve.
