Different colour backgrounds

I love my new website, SMUGMUG have done a great job.

I'm creating a testimonial page and I would like to basically put a few text boxes on a page but use a different background from the theme standard. Ideally a feint yellow background to make it look like.

So the question is, how do i make a customised font / background text box?

I think what you are looking for can be accomplished with an HTML block using CSS.

I have a box on my home page and my about me page that are done this way so I could format them how I wanted.
