Keywords are broken at present. Re-indexing of keywords has apparently been in progress for some weeks now but is still not working properly.
Since unveiling I have told my visitors to ignore my site until further notice.
Can you show me some examples so I can trouble shoot?
I just noticed something very odd.... while checking my /keyword page to see if some of mine were "catching up" yet, I noticed some are showing up when I am *NOT* logged in, but do not show up if I *AM* logged in.
Smug Heroes, any ideas? Here is what I've found when comparing my /keyword page when not logged in vs. logged in:
Showing up when NOT logged in, but not when logged in:
air force station
arches
caribbean
castle
gorge
shore birds
sts132
Showing up WHEN logged in, but not when not logged in:
absaroka range
england
geyser
portugal
west thumb geyser basin
yellowstone lake
P.S. I'm pretty sure that I have a lot of keywords from pictures that were already on my site that are not displaying on the /keyword page now. Some new ones that I just uploaded in the last couple of days are there though. Does anyone know if there is still a backlog of "legacy" keywords getting processed from people who converted to New Smugmug in the last couple of weeks?
Thanks...
Hi Steve,
For the top group of photos, I am showing them both logged in and not logged in. Can you confirm they are there now?
Actually, I take that back. You have many galleries that are set to "SmugMug Searchable - No"
These need to be set to yes in order for us to search for your most recent photos.
All of my galleries have been set to "SM searchable - No" since I first built my site in 2006 - and this did not prevent Recent Photos from being found and displayed in OLD SM. It made sense then to be a "Smug Island" because the site was PW protected and a SmugMug community search of my site would be pointless. Are you saying that NEW SM works to a different set of rules in respect of Recent Photos? If so, then I think this needs to be broadcast since I doubt I'm the only one affected by it.
Looking at gallery settings, the only options seem to be "No" and "Site Settings". Does the latter refer to Account Settings > Search > Site Visibility > Smugmug Search Visibility? In which case are you saying I need to choose "Yes - discover me"?
Also, if I really have to do this, is there a blanket method to change the SmugMug searchable setting of all my galleries?

You can make the change by Selecting Multiple Galleries from the organizer, and then clicking on Settings.
I'm a Pro user who unveiled two weeks ago. When logged in as ADMIN my keywords are showing but only a small number are visible. (There are several hundred keywords)
However, when I'm logged in as a VISITOR there are no keywords visible:

With the exception of the first one "air force station", none of them are displaying. I re-confirmed both lists while logged in & not logged in.
