When reviewing someone's slideshow / portfolio I always like the option of using keyboard shortcuts, i.e. arrow keys & spacebar, vs the mouse.

Is their any css that I can apply to my slideshows so that my clients and guest don't have to hover over the arrow buttons via their mouse???

Thanks in advance.

    Bump

Few more questions concerning the slideshow:

I don't like the fact that I have to hover directly over the arrow buttons to move back or forward. A lot of sites out there just require your mouse be on either the right hand side or left hand side as a 50/50 split.

So, is there a way to expand the area of hovering?

Also, I'm fine with the default arrows...but the default frosted white box around the arrows & play/pause is sort of lame. Is there a way to loose them.

    Summary of css code wants:
    • Control of slideshow via keyboard (arrow keys & spacebar)
    • Widening of arrow button hover area, e.g. 50/50 split
    • Elimination / Invisibility of the frosted white boxes surrounding arrow & pause/play buttons
    Thanks :D

I second all of those. Really seems to be a big missing component of the slide show.

    Slideshow not clickable
Another issue is that in Legacy, there was an optional setting to take the visitor to the gallery where the image resides by clicking the desired image during the slideshow. What happened to that option? Saves time from finding the image in a gallery.

    Thanks!

I need keyboard controls in Slideshow too. People want to view at their own speed and sometimes go back. Every time you laborously have to use the mouse the photostrip reappears at the top, blocking part of the image.
