Deleted images gone from Legacy Site - Aaaaargh!

I inadvertently started the delete process of a gallery while experimenting with new Smugmug and mistakenly thought they would still be on my legacy site - not so! Is there any way to retrieve them and perhaps a popup warning would prevent others from making this mistake, and the ability to cancel the process.

I have contacted Support regarding this and posted here for information purposes

Indeed, I'm well aware it is my mistake but one easily made - there's so much to remember:)

Email the help desk and give them the time when this happened. They can restore the photos.
Probably need the gallery names also.

They never helped me restore my lost images. I wrote to Smugmug several times but got no help. I finally just gave up waiting for them to help me. I had to spend hours, days and nights, uploading all of my galleries again. It is a good thing that I had backup copies of everything on my external hard drives.
