Hide breadcrumbs on Event pages?

It looks like the event page is displaying the event title in the breadcrumbs as well. And the theme I'm using (nyx) makes them both huge and it looks dumb to have the title listed twice in a row like that. (see attached)

I would like to hide the breadcrumbs for all events. Is that possible with some well positioned CSS?

thanks!
Trish

Go to customize site and choose the section you want it changed - all docs, all galleries etc. Select the breadcrumb wrench under CONTENT and the options to alter the settings are there. Emphasize is what is making the breadcrumb so large. Switch it OFF. I really don't know why Smug did that, it looks awful.

Thanks for the tip! But it didn't fix Events.
I turned off Emphasize Current Page AND I turned off Show Current Page and on entire site and all folders. But it still shows emphasized on the Event page.

So what happens if you go to events page and select customise and do it for just this page?

You know, it's weird. It's like the event is not really a page. When I navigate to the Event itself, I no longer have the Customize option. The link is not visible at the top of the page. Neither is the Upload, Organize or Profile links.

Events must be some type of generated page or something.

Think you might have a problem with your structural setup. You have various galleries (which are all called 'galleries' once you get to them) and they all hang directly off the homepage. There are no breadcrumbs for them when I look. My site goes to a folder called images, which has separate galleries hanging off it. Yours doesn't seem to do that which might be causing your problem. Have a look at mine and look at the breadcrumb and also the URL at the top. http://www.macromeister.co.uk/Images/Botanic

I turned off the current page breadcrumb. That's probably why you're not seeing it.

I don't have much more than a portfolio online that is visible. I have a billion galleries that are unlisted and those are organized in folders. Those are just for client deliveries, however.

I'm pretty sure I just have a breadcrumb problem on the Events that I have created.

thanks for spending time on my site trying to figure stuff out!

They have no problem with their structural setup.

The Events pages cannot be customized, they are ugly as sin and have no ability to customize them.

You can remove the breadcrumb easily. Just drop this into a CSS block .... or add it to your theme's CSS:
