Slideshow Speed

In my design, I can't seem to change the speed of my slideshows in my main galleries. When I go to the "Customize Site" it says that the slideshow area is locked for "Default Smugmug Content." I like how everything looks, so I'm loathe to change anything on a grand scale. I just want to find the knob to speed up the slideshow a bit. Hopefully, it's something easy and I'm just missing it.

    Hi Visfxguy,

    You can not set the speed of the slideshow gallery view. You can change the slideshow settings if you use a slideshow content block, like on your homepage for example. Just click Customize > Customize Site > Homepage > Then Settings Wrench on the Slideshow Block > Playback. There you can adjust these playback settings.

    Unfortunately, this makes it tricky if you want to point a homepage grid layout to a gallery slideshow. Unless there's some way of doing it I haven't figured out yet? (highly possible lol) As far as I can tell, if you click a grid/collage on the homepage, you can only do nothing/go to gallery/lightbox, so I'm not sure how to point the click to another page (that is, one which contained a slideshow module). It would be great to be able to fully customize a gallery slidshow.....

    The slideshow app allows you adjust the speed using the playback settings.

    Not sure how that would make it tricky. Can you explain how you made the slideshow divamum?

    rolleyes1.gif Anywhere there is a slideshow, your should be able to configure the speed, etc. Period.

    Please let the powers that be know this.

    I'm using a design of my own. I don't remember which Smugmug template I based it on, though.
