Transapancies for printing

I have a few images I have thought would look great in a frame with two pieces of glass in them. I have some old documents mounted this way and they look great.

Back in the day when images were developed and printed on "slides" they could be seen from either the front or the back side. Does anyone know if there is ANYONE who can take a digital image and print it on a transparent film of some sort so it can be seen from both sides and I would be able to put it in a double glass frame so it be enjoyed in a wall opening from both rooms/

Any help is appreciated.

    I believe that your best bet is a "Duratrans" transparency. I have never seen one lit from both directions, but I suspect it would work.

    Find a Duratrans printer and contact them for their experience with the process.

    Transparency material is available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Many printers that allow custom paper profiles can print on transparency. The media manufacturers often provide profile information. For example:
