email or allow printing of renewal receipt

This is so basic, I hate to even ask. Can we get a receipt for payment emailed automatically after renewal? Or at least the ability to print our own in control panel, without having to email support?
I can't believe in this day and time, that a receipt for payment can't be automatically generated and emailed out at renewal time. I need this on 2 accounts for tax purposes, and have to remember to email support to ask for something that ought to be provided automatically (like just about any other web service provider) or available to print in the control panel (everybody else).
Please?
