When I customise a gallery, for some galleries I have them password protected.

I used to be able to click on the privacy setting, and I could read the password - so I wouldn't have to "remember" them all the time.

With the updated system, when I want to view the password, they are all starred out "***". I don't see any provision of toggling between showing/hiding the password.

Is there something Smugmug can do to fix this, or will I (and I am sure others) have to be constantly changing passwords when someone wanting to view the gallery asks for the password?

We no longer display or show passwords to you while logged in for security reasons. We are recommending that you keep track of passwords the old fashioned way with a pen and paper, or use the password hint function to give yourself a clue. If you do not know a password you can always reset it in the gallery settings.
