I've been a little absent from the forum lately. Some of you know I've taken up a new hobby that is turning into a third profession. I'm still very much doing photography, but aerial performance takes many hours a week training and rehearsing.
First, some photos OF me by an awesome local photographer, Geoff Hammond.

Hahaha, great series and especially the first set. Different and refreshing.

    1. I just love it and is for me the best in the series.
    2. Nice play with light and good pose
    3. Nothing special and sticks a bit out in your series as a standard portrait, flat and straight forward. (doesn't mean that it is a bad picture)
    4. Nice but often seen... would crop out the edge of the glass frame...

So well done, and I would like to see more.

The studio company just put on a circus variety show Friday night. There's a local club where the studio has had special beams installed for the rigging, so we rent the space for some shows. We also have a portable rig that we use sometimes, and we've used a couple of theaters in town. I'm still very new to performing. I've been training on pole for two years, lyra (aerial hoop) for a year, and recently started static and dance trapeze. I do a little on fabric and rope. My partner and I started working together in March and are starting to build acts with the aim to perform professionally. My girls are also training, mostly on fabric.

I forgot to mention that the young man in my photos is my aerial partner. So, yes, we have a standard head shot of him, which every performer needs. Here is the final edit of that shot.

And here's another that I really like

I will try to post more, and more variety, soon.

Was on a cruse where there was a Russian couple who were absolutely fantastic. Really enjoyed the show. Good luck.
