New Website Questions

Help with New Website please:)

-How do you do drop down Catagories on Menu Bar?
-Can't find a button to rearrange photos in galleries?
-For my Contact Page..I just want to add a photo with my info..thought I did it right, but when you click on it from Menu doesnt do anything??

Whats the differnece between page, folder, gallery? If you can look at my Menu & go to Portfolio how do you take out the folders you dont want shown in there?

For some reason there is one called "Your Sessions" not sure why its there because I have that whole gallery under "Your Sessions" from the menu?

Then folder "Other" needs taken out of there & just be its own "unlisted" until I get the drop down menu figuared out.

Drop downs can be done in the standard smug nav bar. See help page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/1222523-customization-how-do-i-make-a-navigation-menu-.

Photos in galleries can be rearranged in the Organizer. Click on the gallery to make it active, then select the sort sequence (in the upper right) or select manual and drag/drop.

Contact page requires that you set a set a photo on your Profile. Click your name in the navbar when you are logged in, then select Profile. Select a profile photo. Then set up the email in your account settings. Then you will be able to use the contact link in your navbar with Link to Contact.

A page is something you create in the organizer and then populate by dragging elements onto it. A folder contains galleries, folders, pages. A gallery contains photos.

If you had HTML-only galleries in your old smug you will probably want to replace them with Pages. If you look at my site, kaleidoscope, gallery, and about in my navbar are all Pages.

You're the only person who can see your migrated so it's difficult to know what you are seeing. You might want to publish some screen shots along with your questions.

Just cant seem to figuare it out sure its simple! I made a Contact on my Menu bar, Now All I want to do is put a photo that I made in there. How do I do this??

Im not using the built in Contact I just want to have a photo I made that has my info. Nothing I do is working for that.

Then For my Portfolio in the New Smug Mug I just want to add "Catagories" from old Smug to New & tried everything...cant figuare it out????!!!

Went there above and it shows the click tab for the Child folders. In the NEW SM, that option is not showing up for me! I'm still in PREVIEW. I want to add this to what is called the BROWSE page which I renamed on the Menu line to be GALLERIES.
