Default Site Design

I am attempting to re-design my website using the update (yay!). Is there a way to choose which site design to set as your default? When viewing edits I've made in Preview and exiting I keep getting bounced back to the default that isn't the design I'm using. I can't find a way to change the default. Thoughts?

    Did you click customize > "Chose a new site design"?

    Yes, and the one I'm using is there as an option to edit or delete, but I can't delete the default design, nor can I make the new design the default.

    Never mind, I figured it out. The Publish Now button scared me because I thought it would make the new site live, but I see now it was just to save it as my current settings and Unveil will make the new site live. Missed that little detail!

    A LOT of people, me included, had that same point of confusion.
