Italic Text in Photo Title

I'm trying to get italic text to display in the photo Title block by inserting HTML code around the text string I want changed but haven't had any luck. I also tried to display italics for the entire text string to see if that was a possible reason. I've had no problem getting italic text to display in the captions. Anyone have a similar issue?

    Got a link to a photo with the added title? Probably can change title to italic with CSS.

    This photo has an example of what I am trying to achieve. The caption looks the way I want with the Latin name in italics. The same code in the Title has no effect. In the Title I want to end up with Latin name in italics and a slightly smaller font size. I didn't add the parameter for font size as the italics did not work.

    I know next to nothing about HTML so I may be the problem.

    Oops, maybe for the whole title but not a portion of it. Maybe you can find a character set and use the codes for italic letters.

    Actually I did try to put the whole line in italics to see if that was a problem but that doesn't work either. I've also just discovered a new bug with the photo title which I'll post on a new thread.
