Single Photo vertical height adjustment

For the "single photo" option, adjustment to the photo vertical height within the block is provided but that just creates lots of blank space. If I choose the "Fill Width" display option with a 3:1 ratio, the photo uses a tremendous amount of screen space. I submitted this to support and they said to submit it to the dgrins forum.
I'd like to be able to adjust the vertical height of the single photo display box and to be able to position a photo within the block using drag-n-drop. Currently when a photo is chosen, there is no way to position the photo to get the best horizontal slice of the photo. You just have to find one that works.
