Galleries/Categories/Sub-categories restructuring

In trying to convert my new SM site, I have come to realize that the structure I have for Galleries, categories & sub-categories might be better organized.
I have two questions.
1) In the Legacy SM, we had three levels - Category, Sub-category and Gallery. Are we still limited to these three levels in the new SM?
2) If I restructure, i.e. re-assign sub-categories to a different category or move a gallery from one sub-category to another, in the new SM. will I affect my legacy site? If yes, would it then be preferable to do the restructuring in the legacy first?
TIA

There are two limits to galleries/folders. Gallery blocks can only contain a maximum of 48 galleries and folders can only contain a maximum of 300 galleries. I hope this helps.
So now the question remains, if I start messing with the structure in the new SM, will I be affecting my legacy site?

Anything you reorganize in the new SmugMug would be put into a private gallery on
In Legacy called SmugMug Preview, I believe.

Oh boy, just added a bunch more work. With hindsight, never should have upgraded to Power User so I could customize my site.
