No title / captions in recent photos/lightbox on new SM?

As mentioned already here, i do not see the title/captions when i open a photo from a recent photos or multiple photos content block. See screenshot.
The title/caption text is inside the page source, see link above which includes a screenshot. For some reasons the title/captions are not displayed. Panel tools and nav icons are missing also, just the [X] is there.
