View As Visitor option?

Where did the View As a Visitor option go?
I've had to go the long route every time - log off - then view it - then log back in, and unfortunately and frustratingly it does not retain my login name/pw so I have to type it all in each time.

Please put a View As Visitor button (or View as Owner) back in!

Thanks.

Why not just use a 2nd browser? Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari..... Instant visitor view.

Also - if you don't have 2 browsers installed, you can also just use the "InPrivate" feature in IE (Safety -> InPrivate Browsing). That will open an new IE window that is sandboxed from your other window so won't be logged in.

Most other browsers have a similar feature if you don't use IE as your primary browser.

Is there a way to get a visitor view of the new site while still in preview mode?

Thanks, yes, that is definitely an option I didn't think of - DUH! (I use Firefox primarily).

But you gotta admit it was a handy one-click feature of the old way, or you guys wouldn't have put it in there in the first place. Opening a second browser, navigating to the site is definitely the long way around.

There is a new kind of visitor view. At least, on the homepage, with a Multiple Photos content block. See? It's the last line in the Display tab.

Thanks everydaymemories, yes that provides for a 'Visitor View' for a single content block only not the complete site itself.

Andy is right, you can use another browser to see a true visitor view once you have unveiled.

If you're in preview mode however, there is no way to see true visitor view until after unveiling.

I have been very disappointed with my visitor view since unveiling two weeks ago. Lots of things are not working in my visitor view. (I have listed them elsewhere)
