This is the path to the Circo de Gredos, a glacial cirque situated in the Sierra de Gredos (the main range in the Sistema Central mountains in central Spain). At the bottom of the cirque, there is the Laguna Grande de Gredos at a height of 1,940 metres, and at the right edge of the cirque is the summit Pico Almanzor, the highest of the range at 2,592 meters.

Comments are welcome and appreciated. :):

I think the strong shadow contrast doesn't help this image. The skyline topography lacks a (singular) strong element to anchor the image, so the edge of the shadow and the skyline kind of compete for my eye. I'd like to see a detail shot of the path, or maybe a telephoto shot of the peaks on the left with the faces lit by the sun.
Yeah, if you recognize the avatar, new user name.

Thanks for your comments. As I know this place very well, I'm emotionally attached to it, and I can recognize all the summits, but you have the reason: the image needs an "anchor" for the people that don't know this place.

I really like the photo as-is but kolibri's comment makes sense too.

I find much to like about this one, but I agree with kolibri that you could find more suitable light. I hope it's not too difficult to go back.
