It would be nice to assign a status to a gallery and have it display accordingly.
For example create a gallery would not publish it. This way you could prevent half finished galleries from appearing to the public. When it is ready you could release it. I guess you could use the unlisted feature but there could be other uses for statuses.
Other uses could be user defined statuses to remind you do do something or to update a gallery. Especially useful in this transition stage where older galleries may need to be updated (i.e. Titles and Captions where previously only captions). you should be able to search on status and have organizer display the results.
