Lightbox Improvements!

Hi Dgrin

We just shipped some Lightbox improvements we think you may enjoy.

The LB is now consistent between galleries, photo content blocks, and the Organizer. You can navigate, share, buy, etc. from any of these LBs.

Also included in this release: opening and closing the LB from a Multiple Photos block when you are down the page will not cause you to jump back to the top of the page.

    Thanks for the update! Is there a release notes page where all fixes and changes are documented, a blog or something?

    I see you were specific to MP Block, but how about fixing it for the Collage display in the same fashion? That one still scrolls behind the scenes when you go to lightbox and back.

    Hi, Can you give us links to examples? How can I implement these changes to my site?

    It is broken in Safari. Before it was the slideshow problem, and now the Lightbox doesn't work either, at least in my sand boxed site. I only get pieces of images now.

    In lightbox full screen view the picture sizes do not use the largest possible size unless you manually select them.
    Fill does not use the largest possible picture.

    Heya, I am not on my computer, but you are saying if you drop a photos block and choose collage style, the buttons do not appear?

    No, I'm saying on a gallery display whose setting is for collage, the gallery display itself scrolls the selected image all the way to the top when you return from the lightbox, rather than leaving it where it was.

    I can second that. It looks like the photo which was selected to open in lightbox becomes the first row on top of the browser window if you close the lightbox.

    See screenshot. I clicked the photo on the lower right corner. After i closed the lightbox this photo is now in the upper right corner of the browser window.

    Click here (tested with Opera12 and FF23 on Linux, can test with Opera16, Chrome and IE on windows later)

    P.S. this happens on other gallery layouts also, see here with thumbnails. Select a photo on the lower right and after you close the lightbox the page has scrolled up so the photo appears now on top of the screen.

    P.S.#2 Happens on Chrome and the galleries listet above also, but i have a gallery with collected photos here that is also using collage langscape where this does not happen.

    P.S.#3 It happens only on real galleries, not on pages with multiple photo content blocks. That's why it does not happen on the last given link above.
