I can't create a new gallery at my legacy site. I click the "save" button, the window returns, and then nothing happens.

I had this happen a while back, shortly after the new Smugmug was reveled . . . I couldn't fix it. It just went back to normal a couple hours later.

It's still not working for me.

I have a migrated, but still non-unveiled new smugmug site. I can make a new gallery at the non-unveiled new smugmug site.

A work around, though it seems kind of dangerous is to create the gallery at the "new" (not yet unveiled site). That gallery appears in the "Smug Preview" category. Then, I can edit the category/subcategory information on the gallery to put it in the right place on the legacy site.

But, of course, this is an ugly solution and I worry about whether it could cause galleries/photos to get lost later. But, since I need to make some pictures available right now, it's the solution I'm trying now.

OK, found another solution -- capitalizing the first letter of the gallery name. In new smugmug, you are told you have to capitalize. Looks like that restriction might have migrated to the legacy smugmug as well (but with no warning).

I think this is the first new gallery I've tried to create since the Change and my automatic galleries created by eye-fi start with a number). Folks who routinely capitalize their gallery names may not have encountered the problem before.

I guess this has something to do with the problem on capitals that other people were complaining about? If so, makes me wonder what will happen to all my non-capitalized galleries when we reach a new steady state. Am I going to have to rename them?
