Nav bar issue

Hi, I am trying to create a new smugMug site (I have a legacy). While building a navigation bar on the top of the page, I can not figure out how to create a "contact". I have the "contact" word there, but the link that I put in "mailto:" does not work. That is what I used on my legacy site. It took me a long time to build a custom site with the legacy since it is essentially like learning a new language. I feel like I am at step 1 again. Any suggestions how to make "contact" clickable to my email address. TIA, appreciate any help

You need to setup your link to "Link to" "Contact Form" in your menu's settings. Then you need to make sure you have your email address populated in your Account Settings / Profile, etc.
