Maybe he should look at my thread? :-)

I'm in the process of transferring my domain name to godaddy. Anyone know how long the process usually takes? I completed the steps to get to the point where it's in the 'processing approval' stage. I assume they're waiting for Yahoo to authorize the transfer. In the meantime, my site is also up and down with the same message. My direct smugmug link works though...but that's not what everyone knows, including Google search :-(

Not sure about the Yahoo-to-GoDaddy speed, but awhile back I transferred from GoDaddy-to-Hover and everything was done in about an hour. Just keep a close eye on your email because there will be at least one verification request sent to you that you'll need to respond to.

Thanks. Yes, I did already take action on the email godaddy sent to me. I haven't seen anything from Yahoo though for this process and that might be normal at this stage. I did ask a Yahoo support guy yesterday evening how long it usually takes for Yahoo and he said around 5 days or so. I'm surprised it really takes that long, but I guess it depends on the service provider.
